Creative Hats was formed in 2022.
We teach and promote the joys of creative writing.
In 2023 we became a registered, licensed and insured publishing house. Then late in 2024 we started to take a different, more unique approach to make books inviting when you lack the time to read.
That is how the Grab Book was formed. Compact, accessible reads that fit in your bag or even your pockets. They make perfect gifts.
As we move into 2026 our focus is on launching new titles each week while distributing and selling between books directly from our website each month.
We opened our Booktok business at the beginning of 2025 – look out for our live showcase events which each spring!
Yes, we are relatively new in this industry, but our experienced team is far from.
No, we are not and will never be a vanity press.
Our writers are carefully selected, pay nothing, receive a special author pack as their online launch approaches, enjoy enhanced marketing both in-person events and virtual and reap significant financial rewards for every book we sell. £2.50 for every book sold is always paid to the writer.
We are ambitious and aiming high with our five year strategy to become one of the big industry players.
