Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept simultaneous submissions?

Yes, we do — just let us know immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere so we can withdraw it from our review process.

Can I submit more than one manuscript at a time?

Please submit one manuscript at a time. Once you’ve heard back from us, you’re welcome to submit another.

Do you accept previously self-published work?

Generally no, but we consider each case on its merits. If your self-published work has a strong existing readership, mention this in your cover letter.

Do I need a literary agent to submit?

No. We welcome unagented and unsolicited submissions directly from authors.

How long does the review process take?

We aim to respond within 10–14 weeks. Please don’t send chaser emails before that window has passed.

Will I receive feedback on my submission?

We’re a small team, so we can’t provide detailed feedback on every submission. If we pass, we’ll let you know — but we may not be able to say much more than that.

What file formats do you accept?

We prefer .docx or PDF. Please include a cover page with your title, name, contact details, and genre.

Can I resubmit a revised manuscript?

If we’ve invited you to revise and resubmit, absolutely. Otherwise, please wait at least six months before resubmitting a significantly revised work.
